JAGUARS at LE MANS 1950-PRESENT

JAGUARS AND JAGUAR POWERED CARS AT LE MANS 1950-PRESENT

Jaguar has a long history at Le Mans, having won the 24-Hour race seven times. Jaguars were raced by both the factory (until 1956) and by private teams such as Ecurie Ecosse, Cunningham, Group 44 and TWR; with both the the Scotish Ecosse team and TWR winning Le Mans twice each. Jaguar powered cars such as Listers, Coopers and Tojeiro's also competed at Le Mans through the years.Presented here are the Jaguar and Jaguar powered cars in our collection which competed at Le Mans.

PLEASE NOTE: From 1968 into the 1990's tobacco companies sponsored many significant race cars. In the interest of historical accuracy, Old Irish Racing chooses to display models in our collection as historically accurate as possible. While seeing a tobacco advert on a car gives me no more desire to go smoke than seeing a car makes me want to go suck on its exhaust pipe. If tobacco (or alcohol) adverts on race cars offend you, please go look at nice pictures of bunnies and kittens on another site.
